FOOTBALL PHILOSOPHY
Our aims are to help produce honest people who show the characteristics needed to be successful in life. Resilience, determination, attitude and application. We believe in developing the person before the player to become leaders and thinkers in the game and players who can execute with proficiency on the grass and reach their maximum potential.
We believe in the holistic development of individuals within the context of the ‘team’ environment. Success for our Club is in the development of the person who has our core values engrained. Players adaptable with a broad variety of experiences in their development that are able to not just make efficient, but the best choices under pressure.

Club based team model & methodology
Our teams will play a variety of formations to help ours players develop tactically in the modern game. We strive to improve the knowledge base and understanding for our players to give them the tools to highlight strengths and weaknesses both in our team, and to problem solve on the pitch.
The 5 moments of the game are important and will be delivered as per our curriculum in the Youth Development Phase, (13s-18s).

Four moments of the game will be taught to our Foundation Phase players from our foundation curriculum.

These core principles underpin our philosophy. Players that are capable of playing in the future of today’s modern game, where the game will be quicker, more free flowing, more demanding.
Developing players with the physicality that is the core underpinning component of their movement, then enhancing to become quicker, more powerful and stronger.
Technically sound players who are capable of manipulating and staying on the ball. Mentally strong people who have our core values engrained with control, confidence, good communication, concentration & commitment.
Tactically intelligent players, capable of being adaptable, good readers of the game, & understand roles & responsibilities. We will strive through the core principles to develop creative thinkers of the game, whilst aiming to play an attractive brand of purposeful possession and intent, a high aggressive press as a priority to help implement a shorter route to creating goal scoring opportunities from a shorter counter press.
Our aim is to develop young players through our Centre of Youth Development to produce quality, hard working players that benefit the game in Queensland levels, National levels and International levels. We strive to achieve the best learning, challenging, motivating and fun environments for our players.
